WHAT ARE THE DELIVERY COSTS?

AS OF 2ND OCTOBER 2023

Shipping rates are calculated at the checkout and are based on the weight of the parcel and charged at Royal Mail standard online rates plus packing costs. PLEASE NOTE: Postage prices have risen out of my control due to the Covid-19 situation ALSO A new Zone 3 for USA only has been introduced. Europe has been split into three zones.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?

I ALWAYS aim to ship your order out to you within 24/48 hours from purchase and completed payment, but please bear in mind it may take me up to 72 hours in some cases e.g weekends, public holidays, bad weather, family commitments etc.  MOST orders will go out the same day if received by 2pm or the next WORKING day. 

UK ~ Orders are sent via Royal Mail 1st Class post and should arrive within 1-2 days.

EUROPE ~ Orders are sent Royal Mail Air Mail and should arrive within 2 TO 3 WEEKS.  Brexit WILL have an effect on incoming mail from the UK and CN22 customs forms will eventually be required on all parcels from 1st January 2021. From 20th October sales to the EU have resumed.  Parcels will have CN22 forms to ensure that they pass through customs, however, I am not responsible for any extra processing charges or VAT that will now be charged on orders when received into your country.

USA/CANADA ~ Orders are sent via Royal Mail Air Mail and should arrive within two or three weeks, but can sometimes take much longer, depending on security at customs/frequency of air mail flights/holiday periods etc. 

REST OF THE WORLD ~ Orders are sent Royal Mail Airmail and should arrive within a few weeks but this can vary dramatically with some parcels taking a month or more.

WHAT IF MY PARCEL GOES MISSING?

I cannot deal with any claims for lost parcels until 15 WORKING (Mon - Fri) days have passed for UK orders, 20 WORKING days for European orders and 25 WORKING days for International orders.  These are the guidelines set by Royal Mail (who won't declare a parcel as 'missing' until these days have elapsed) and I cannot deal with missing parcels until this time.  I do hope you understand. Any refunds issued for missing parcels will be for the item/s value only and will not include original postage costs.

PLEASE NOTE: EXTRA TIME WILL BE NEEDED FOR ANY PARCELS SENT DURING THE BUSIER CHRISTMAS PERIOD OF NOVEMBER/DECEMBER AND PERIODS WHEN THEIR ARE ISSUES WITH YOUR COUNTRY'S POSTAL SERVICE  DUE TO WEATHER/STRIKES/EXTRA SECURITY AND CUSTOMS ISSUES

ARE TAXES INCLUDED WITH MY ORDER?

If you are in the UK, I am not VAT registered and do not charge VAT on your orders.  For all International and EU orders a CN22 customs form has to be completed and YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY VAT/IMPORT DUTIES/TAXES incurred on receipt of the parcel into your country. As stated above, you are responsible for any VAT or import charges incurred on receipt of this parcel into your own country and items cannot be marked as a gift on a customs form. A CN22 form will be required on all orders to Europe after Brexit on 1st January 2021. 

RETURNS & REFUNDS

RETURNS
It is important to us that you are happy with your order. If  you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order and we will arrange exchange or refund. Returned items must be unused and in their original condition. Unless we made an error with your order, it is the buyer's responsibility to cover the cost of return postage. The items remain the responsibility of the buyer until they reach us, we strongly advise that you obtain proof of postage, we are not responsible for any returned items going missing in transit.

SALE items are non returnable, all sales on discounted items are final.

REFUNDS (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within a few days.

WHAT SIZE NEEDLES DO YOUR RINGOS FIT?

ringOs Mini are meant for sock knitting and fit needles up to 3.25mm/US 3.  ringOs and ringOs Traffic Light Lace will fit needles up to 4-4.5m/US6-7.  ringOs XL fit needles up to 8mm.  ringOs JUMBO are enormous and fit needles up to 12-13mm/US17-18.

HOW MANY RINGOS CAN YOU FIT IN A RINGOS TIN?

ringOs Mini ~ approximately four sets (64 rings)

ringOs ~ approximately five sets (50 rings)

ringOs XL ~ approximately two sets (20 rings)

ringOs JUMBO ~ You can only fit two or three rings in a tin NOT a full set of five.

DO YOU DO CUSTOM ORDERS?

Currently I am not offering any custom orders.  It is something I have done in the past and hope to be able to offer again in the future.

DO YOU DO WHOLESALE?

Yes, I am happy to do wholesale orders for yarn shops for resale (bricks and mortar or online) or for one off sock/yarn clubsetc.  Just contact me on wholesale@fripandbib.com with your requirements and I can send you my wholesale T&Cs then we can take it from there.
